Tips on Pencil Shading... what to say? O_oU...

When i paint, i used the pencil stronger on darker areas and very soft on light areas (which are not white...)

Also i try to give it a "continuous" looking, it is, on rounded shapes (Such as muscles, clothes...or other tings...), i try to fade the colours (decreasing the pressure of the pencil)

The threads of hair are done by constantly doing lines on the direction if the hair, but it is just a continuous motion of the wrist. I use it to relax, sometimes... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Shading of the hair is easier than it could seem. You have to do lines wider and darker on dark areas, and thiner and more clear on light zones

Also i try to make a realistic lighting. It is, all shadows are done according to a source of light.
